Non-Teaching Employees Union demand fulfillment of long pending issues 12/19/2016 10:53:01 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 19: On the 6th day Executive body of the Non-Teaching Employees Union, University of Jammu called two hour token demonstration in front of Vice-Chancellor Secretariat in University of Jammu in which all the employees participated with regard to fulfillment of their long pending issues. The Executive body appealed the Vice-Chancellor to consider the genuine demands of the Employees. The Non-Teaching Employees Union implemented Work to Rule in the University of Jammu w.e.f 4.11.2016 and has given sufficient time to the authorities. During the demonstration the demands of the employees were reiterated and called upon the authorities to put aside the arrogant attitude towards the Non Teaching Fraternity. During the protest various employees shared their views about the long pending demands and the functioning of the University and strongly criticized the callous attitude of the authorities towards the long pending genuine demands of the employees. Thereafter, the Non Teaching Employees took out protest march of the University of Jammu as per the scheduled programme and completed in front of VC office with slogans. The executive body requested the Vice Chancellor to consider their demands as early as possible to avoid further extension of protest demonstration. The demonstration was addressed by Pawan Singh (president), Ashwani Bakshi (vice president), Sham Sharma (general secretary), Sanjeev Chadha(Jt. Secretary) and Vikas Langer (Org. Secretary). Abhinav Sharma(Treasurer), Niranjan Singh Charak, Joginder Singh, Kewal Kumar, Padam Shri Padamani, Sunita Amla, and Jasjeet Singh were also present during the demonstration.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
