JKFFA pays tributes to martyrs.

Jammu, Dec 19: Jammu and Kashmir Freedom Fighters Association (JKFFA) on Monday paid floral tributes to army personnel who sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation while on duty. Association also remembered Shaheed Ashfaq Ullah Khan, a martyr who worked along with Chander Shekhar Azad function held on his 89th Death Anniversary at Dogra Shaurya Sthamb, Amphalla, here.
The programme was organised under the chairmanship of JKFFA President Ved Gandotra. The Indian soldiers Tribute were also paid to the were martyred while militants attacked on their convoy at Pampore in Srinagar yesterday.
"We the people of Jammu and Kashmir salute them for their bravery as they fought with strong will for the cause of our Nation," Gandotra said.
Speakers expressed their anguish over the cowardly act of Pak sponsored militant groups.
A two-minute silence was also observed in the memory of all those who sacrificed their lives for the sake of nation.
Paying tributes to Ashfaq Ullah Khan, the members highlighted his life history who in a small span of life served the country. He was born in 1900 and was hanged by the British in 1927.
The members appealed to the people to shun love for money and struggle for maintaining integrity and sovereignty of the nation.
