JAMMU, Dec 19: All India Taekwondo Union Organisation today organized Belt Grading Examination Championship at Sai Palace, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu wherein a total of 185 students from various schools of Jammu province participated in the test out of which 130 students were promoted to the next rank colour by Anil Nanda, Technical Director, Sanjay Kumar, President All India Taekwondo Union. Students of DRS Kids Trikuta Nagar, The Roots Montessori House, Aglow Kids, DRS Kids Talab Tillo, Nanda Martial Art Club were awarded with different colour belts. On the occasion S. Rangeel Singh President J&K Olympic Association Vice President PDP was the Chief Guest while retired engineer V.K Gupta . Er. S.P. Langar and Chief Advisor J&K Sports Speed Ball Association S. Satwant Singh were Guests of honour who distributed prized among those who qualified the colour belt certificates. Parth Bhatia was the recipient of 1st qualified Junior black belt (1st degree). Ronika Nanda Treasurer Association, Neetu Gupta, Meenakshi Badyal, and Jasleen Kaur, Organizing Member were present in the function. Anil Nanda, Chief Technical Director, Taekwondo Association while addressing the gathering said that the students who cleared the test would be provided an opportunity to participate in the State Taekwondo Championship going to be held from February 2017 J&K. |
