NYK organizes Declamation contest

KATHUA, Dec 23: Nehru Yuva Kendra Sangathan, ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports, Govt. of India is organizing Declamation Contest on topic "Patriotism & National Building" at District, State & National level as part of Republic Day Celebration, 2017, to inculcate the spirit of "Ek Bharat Shreshtha Bharat" and to sensitize youth for their active participation in National Development.
NYK, Kathua has organized State Level Declamation Contest on the topic "Patriotism and National Building" in Hindi and English Language, in collaboration with Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Kathua. Seerat Baji from NYK Jammu adjudged 1st in the declamation contest and Vishal Pathania from Kathua stood at 2nd while Pushap Mahajan from NYK Udhampur got 3rdposition and conferred certificate and cash prize worth Rs. 25,000/ Rs. 10,000/ and 5,000/ respectively by the Chief Guest.
Vijay Kumar, National Youth Awardee played role of stage secretary and Prof. Yashpal , Pitamber Dutt Sharma, Shiv Nandan Sharma was in panel of judges. Som Datt Zard, DYC, NYK Kathua presented vote of thanks.
