JAMMU, Dec 23: JPians have once again proved their metal in sports as three students of J.P. World School have been selected for National School Basketball being held at DPS Rajnandgaon, Chhatisgarh.
According to press release, Amandeep Singh of Grade 10, and Aditya, Mananya of Grade 9 were selected for 62nd National School Basketball U 17 Championship which is going to be held from 26th to 30th December at DPS Rajnandgaon, Chhatisgarh. They were selected on the basis of their sports skills observed by the officials of Jammu & Kashmir Basketball Federation.
It is noteworthy that all the three students selected from Jammu district are the students of J.P. World School. They were welcomed and honoured in front of the whole school in a special assembly. The school principal Jitinder Singh Hundal congratulated them, their parents and the school coach Laxmi for their hardwork and sports spirit. |
