JAMMU, May 17: Who says the Congress is a mainstream political party? It is the replica or an extension of separatist organizations like Hurriyat Conference and JKLF, as also a replica or an extension of semi-separatist outfits like National Conference.
Congress leader invariably speak the language the Kashmiri separatists and leaders of National Conference speak and they speak in unequivocal terms to establish their communal and pro-separatist credentials. The short point is that there is no difference whatever between what the Congress leaders and leaders of separatist outfits and of the leaders of parties like the National Conference say, advocate and vouch for.

Srinagar, May 17: Following crime branch (CB) raids on FCI stores and initiation of probe, CAPD minister Zulfkar Ali has admitted that the substandard supply of rice was being received by the department.
"Yes, it is true that our one of the depot in North Kashmir has received two trucks of substandard rice. We have communicated it to FCI authorities and both the trucks have been sent back to FCI," he told Early Times over phone.
CB had conducted raids on FCI stores in the valley and initiated preliminary inquiry following reports of alleged supply of substandard rice to consumers.

According to the survey conducted by Global Adult Tobacco Survey (GATS) it has come to the fore that 26.6 percent adults in Jammu & Kashmir are currently tobacco in any form.
