JAMMU, June 2:A deputation of PHE workers Welfare Association under the leadership of Subash Verma, provincial General Secretary called on Chief Engineer's office PHE department Jammu, today and submitted a Memorandum cum notice on the long pending demands of the PHE Employees and workers of the department.
In the meeting, the Association stressed upon the Chief Engineer for the regularisation of all sorts of PHE workers who have completed 5 years tennure, disbursement of monthly wages to all the workers before 5th of every month and clearance of all backlog wages of the workers etc. The
Association also demanded DPC of permanent employees, rationalisation of Pay scales of field staff and operational staff and constitution of welfare fund scheme etc.
The Association apprise the Chief Engineer of the adoption of the agitation by the employees as if demands of the employees are not conceeded in a week time.
Subash Verma appealed PHE workers to remain united under the banner of PHE Workers welfare Association to achieve their demands. Besides Rattan Doshi, the senior leaders and other prominent leaders of the Association, Chuni Lal, Manzoor aIi,Ram Labhaya, Varun Dogra etc also attended the meeting. |
