JTC urges President of India to impose Governor’s rule in J&K

Jammu, June 2 : Jagti Tenement Committee and Soan Kashmir Front today held a joint meeting under the leadership of Shadi Lal Pandita in which they urged President of India Pranab Mukherjee for imposing Governor’s rule in Jammu and Kashmir.
According to press release, Pandita said that in Jammu and Kashmir as the militancy in Kashmir valley for past few months has been increasing and spreading over which is likely to prove harzadous for Indian Nation as such early preventive measures are required to be taken to curb such forces. He expressed his grave concern over waving of Pakistani flags by the separatists in Kashmir valley during protests and rallies. "Kashmir belongs to Kashmiri Pandit community who are actual resident of Kashmir valley and the miscreants have managed illegal occupation of the properties of Kashmiri Pandits thereby forcing them to leave their homes and hearths", he said.
He further said that for past 26 years the Kashmiri Pandit community is living a life in exile lacking all basic amenities. "time and again demand had been raised by the Kashmiri Pandit Migrant community for bringing up three satellite townships in Kashmir valley near Sringar city for ensuring permanent and dignified rehabilitation of the Kashmiri Migrant community in safe and secure places with grant of minority status, reservation in State Legislature as well as in parliament", he said.
The members have demanded early repairs of Kandoli-Jagti road stretch for ensuring smooth movement of the vehicular traffic as well as pedestrians besides ensuring construction of a Dug wall/Tube well in premises of Jagti Migrant camp for ensuring proper drinking water supplies to the inmates of this mini migrant township. The participants of the meeting have also said that some migrant families have been provided ceiling fans while as some are still lacking this facility as these ceiling fans have not been provided to them.
Ved Lal Pandita, Raj Kumar Tickoo, Sunil Koul, Chaman Lal Pandita, Ram Ji Pandita, Rajinder Dhar, Sanjay Pandita, Ramesh Bhat, Hari Krishan, Methan Pandita, M.L. Akhoon and M.L. Pandita were also attended the meeting.
