Jammu, June 2: Jammu and Kashmir Grameen Bank in collaboration with NABARD organized awareness programmme on the recently launched Pradhan Mantri's Social Security Scheme at village Bijhama, Baramulla .
According to press release, the programme was organized under the chairmanship of Vagish Chander Sharma.
On this occasion, Rouf Zargar, DDM NABARD was chief guest and elaborates various schemes of NABARD -Farmer Clubs (FC's), Self Help Groups (SHG's) & Joint Liability Groups (JLG's).
VK Sharma, Senior Manager of MF&FI Department, J&K Grameen Bank informed the participants at length regarding the benefits of newly launched schemes named (PMJJBY) Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, (PMSBY) Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana and (APY) Atal Pension Yojana.
He further informed the gathering that these schemes have been designed to provide security cover to the poor population particularly those working in the unorganized sectors. He advised the people to avail this benefit through nearest Grameen Bank Branch.
District Manager Baramulla, Rafiq Ahmed Shah also spoke on the occasion. The said camp was also attended by Panchs and Sarpanchs of the area. Branch Manger Bijhama, presented Vote of thanks. |
