'Multi inquiries' in BGSBU Scholarship Scam bid to hush up matter: Cong 6/2/2015 11:38:06 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, June 2: Alleging that multi inquiries initiated in the Scholarship Scam surfaced at the Baba Ghulam Shah Badshah University (BGSBU) at Rajouri merely an 'eye wash', the Rajouri based Congress leaders today said it is a deliberate attempt to hush up the matter. Subhash Sharma, (Retd) ADC and Akram Khan, sarpanch both senior Congress leaders while addressing the reporters here at Rajouri said that the matter should be investigated in professional manner and no party politics will be allowed in this matter. "Scholarship meant for the poor students has allegedly been embezzled by the officials sitting at helms of affairs and the matter is of a serious concerns and unfortunate but the multi inquiries reportedly initiated are meant just to face saving and time buying space for tainted officials" said the Congress leaders. "Immediately after the scam was surfaced police has started the investigation and later BGSBU administration has also started internal inquiry including scam into ensuing construction works and on Monday the CA&PD Minister hinted that probe will be conducted by Secretary Tribal Affairs, they alleged and said this itself is much 'confusing and mystifying.' Congress leaders while terming the multi inquires as deliberate attempt to hush up the scam said that party demands police investigation only and said that multi inquires will produce different results/conclusion which will definitely give benefits to the accused officials.
