Bag containing Rs 7000, documents returned

Jammu, June 2: In an era, when honesty is a rarity, Nawabad police did what few others could hardly do and it handed over a missing bag containing rupees 7000 and qualification documents, books, clothes and others personal belongings to its original owner.
Police sources said that they (Police) recovered a bag in a locality under its jurisdiction and after opening police found that bag contains Rs 7000/- and qualification documents, and others personal belongings.
Police launched a hectic search to trace the rightful owner of the bag who was identified as Randir Singh s/o Faquir Chand of Kanthi Arnas, Mohore, Reasi district who is student of Class XII and has come to Jammu city for the first time to fill "improvement form" at J&K State Board of School Education (JKBOSE) during which he lost his bag.
The Police handed over the bag to rightful owner after his due identification.
