Jammu, Aug 10 : Disseminating awareness of Independence Day, duty and love towards country, Crossed Sword Division has organized a patriotic group song competition in Army Public School, Akhnoor here today.
According to press release, the school which participated in competition including Kendriya Vidyalaya No.1, Kendriya Vidyalaya No.2,Nagbani School, Akhnoor and APS Akh-noor.
The programme commenced with deep prajwalan and marvelous instrumental presentation.
School Principal Mr. K.C.S.Mehta extended his heartfelt welcome to the judges and all the participating schools. He put forward the spirit of programme i.e. to remember the Quit India Movement of 9th August 1942. All the schools participated with utmost gusto and the spirit of patriotism really came true. The students were full of zeal and gave their melodious presentation.
Judgement was done by Ridhima Singh and Muskaan Singh. Army Public School,Akhnoor was adjudged the winners. |
