Assails PDP for welcoming Naga peace accord pact | Omar's political shallowness comes out | | Early Times Report JAMMU, Aug 10: National Conference working president Omar Abdullah has exposed his shallow political sense as he has questioned rather ridiculed the PDP spokesperson for welcoming the Naga peace accord and suggesting that the contours of the same should be adopted with the regard to the Jammu & Kashmir. Omar, more active on tweets, tweeted that could PDP give details of the accord. However, the fact is that the details of the peace accord have not been known to any one, not even to the State Chief Minister of Nagaland. The accord has been kept secret and only the Prime Minister and his National Security advisor Ajit Doval were in the knowledge of it. The shallowness of the political depth of Omar, a former Chief Minister of the State, is reflected by it. Former RAW Chief A K Dulat had in an interview to the national daily said that Omar can only tweet and he is continuing to do so. The observation of Dulat is important has he is very close to the Dr. Farooq Abdullah and his family and his observation about Omar that he can only tweet, is a serious observation of the former Chief Minister, who is credited with the taking the NC to its lowest ever number in the Assembly and having himself just managed to hold on to the one of the seats contested, by about one thousand votes. "Omar being former CM should at least have a sense that if a party suggests that something should be done on the lines of the pact, which obviously can bring peace to the state, that means party is proposing that it should be done in the J&K also. It doesn't mean that it should have first read the draft and then reacted. On, the contrary Omar tweets even on the tweet of the media reports which number of times are not correct," said a senior official. |
