| JAMMU, Aug 10 : In view of lack of awareness among the participating educational institutions of Jammu district, the Department of Youth Services and Sports (DYSS) today wasted the opening day of the inter-school competitions in various events of under-19 boys at different venues, here. As per the reports reaching here, the participating teams turned up with incomplete paper work at their end resulting into incomplete registration by the organizing committee. Now, the organizing committees of respective events have decided to hold the competition tomorrow at the already given venues and time. The inter-district competition in under-19 boys' category is to be held in the disciplines of Badminton, Taekwondo, Rifle Shooting, Tennis Ball Cricket and Handball, a handout issued here today informed. |
