JAMMU, Aug 10 : The RCC today qualified for the final of the ongoing Chevrolet Cricket Cup Tournament, organized by KC Sports Club and sponsored by KC Motors Jammu at KC Public School ground, here. In the semifinal, RCC defeated KCC by a big margin of 43 runs. Batting first, RCC set a target of 127 runs in 20 overs. Praveen Singh and Ankit were main scorers with 38 and 28 runs respectively. Aakash Choudhary and Manik Gupta shared two wickets each from KCC. In reply, KCC bowled out for 84 runs in 18 over thereby lost the crucial game. Vimarsh Kaw and Jatin could only touch the double figure mark with 13 runs each. Dilbag clinched four wickets and Aman bagged two. For his four wickets haul, Dilbag Singh was declared man of the match. Sadiq Hussain Malik, Honey Singh and Rajinder Singh officiated the semifinal. |
