JAMMU, Aug 10 : The District Football Association (DFA) Jammu has started the annual inter-club transfer process to pave way for the Senior Division League starting from first week of September. This has been disclosed by the chairman of newly constituted Core Committee of DFA Jammu, RK Kohli, who also happens to be treasurer of Jammu and Kashmir Football Association (JKFA). "The Core Committee has been constituted in the recently held Executive Committee meeting of the JKFA in view of DFA Jammu, otherwise lying defunct for the last near two years due to infighting among the office bearers," said Kohli. Since there was hardly any activity in Jammu, the Core Committee has decided to make it a start. To begin with inter-club transfer has been started today and shall continue till August 10 to August 25 . The withdrawal shall take place between August 26 to August 27. "The whole registration process shall complete on August 31. Thereafter, the important Senior Division Football League shall be organized in the first week of September," informed the chairman of the Core Committee. The Core Committee comprises secretaries of all 12 Senior Division Clubs of Jammu. It also included special invitees named Ramesh Chander, David Masih, Shahnwaz Iqbal and Charanpreet Singh. Senior Division Clubs of Jammu are Vijay Club, Young Hero, Jammu Sports, Churchill Brothers, Jammu United, Young Rovers, Sainik Colony, Param FC, Mussa Club, Young Star, Engineers XI and NGR Club. |
