Jammu, Aug 10: The All J&K Plus 2 Lecturers’ Forum, District Samba had convened a meeting under the leadership of Lok Sevak, District President of the Forum. In the meeting the members of lecturers' community had discussed the recent transfer orders issued by the Education Department, under Transfer Policy of the coalition regime of the State forced to sit in the school thousands of the students without subject lecturers. The lecturers criticized the transfer policy in the district because many lecturers have been transferred against some other posts citing, the president, Lok Sevak, pointed out that due to these orders, the main feeding schools for higher education, have no subject lecturers, giving an example, Lok Sevak said in GHSS Samba three lecturers have been transferred of subjects, Botany, Computer Science and Hindi. But Botany lecturer replaced by Mathematics and Computer Science by Physics whereas those subject lectures were already available in the school and the post of Hindi is still vacant. Same is the case with GHSS Utterbehani the post of main subject English is replaced by Mathematics and in HSS Rajpur, Zoology and IT posts were adjusted with the substitute of Geography and mathematics. The president argues that who will teach the subjects against which lecturers of other subjects have been adjusted. |
