PDD employees strike enters 41st day 8/10/2015 11:51:05 PM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 10: Ongoing strike of All J&K PDD Employees/ Daily Wagers Union entered 41st day on Monday. The agitating union leaders are strongly demanding justice in the shape of regularization of pending daily wagers and raising voice against the inaction on the part of authorities. The daily wagers raised the issue of partiality with Jammu and Kathua district. "Jammu is the largest district in Jammu province. Only 321 daily wagers have been regularized in Jammu district whereas only 60 employees have been regularized in Kathua district. Comparing with Kashmir division, the D/Ws of Kashmir division have been regularized upto July 2015", the agitating members union said. They said it was expected that the administration could make a position in the matter as the Dy CM has called a high level meeting of PDD official on August 17, 2015. "With regard to completion of all the documents of regularization, president of the union Arvind Sharma and Chairman Bharat Singh are camping at Srinagar, for last seven days", they added.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
