Harsh castigates coalition government for neglecting Ramnagar constituency

Ramnagar, Aug 10: Alleging the total neglect of Ramnagar constituency on developmental front with all developmental initiatives launched by him having came to a grinding halt, Harsh Dev Singh Chairman JKNPP and Former minister lambasted the coalition government for doling out a highly differential and discriminatory treatment to the area after his demitting office as a legislator.
According to press release, cautioning the state government to desist from its persistent bias and prejudice against Ramnagar during the last seven months, Singh said that people of the area would be constrained to take to streets if the pressing public issues were not addressed at the earliest. He was addressing a huge public meeting of JKNPP workers at Ramnagar today.
Speaking on the occasion, Singh said that while JKNPP would not relent in its fight for restoration of AIIMS in Jammu region, the discrimination against Jammu region in various other fields shall continue to be agitated by the Panthers Party in various forums.
He said JKNPP shall vigorously take up the issues of delimitation of Assembly constituencies as assured in the 'Agenda of Alliance' also with rotation of reserved seats which is a necessary concomitant of the delimitation process.
He said that the issue of enhancement of honorarium of SPOs, VDCs and other regularization had been projected before the Union Home Minister and the party shall continue to agitate on the subject till it was settled.
He assumed the farming community of due compensation for the loss of their crops, houses and agricultural fields due to recent natural calamities besides ensuring due compensation for all lands acquired from them for public utility services.
Others who spoke on the occusion were Manju Singh, Shiv Ram Sharma, Sagar Dev Singh, Capt Vijay Singh, Des Raj, Neelam Abrol, Pawan Dev Singh, Pushvinder Singh, Rajesh Kharka, Kulvir Gupta.
