SAMBA, Aug 10: An amount of Rs 1.5 Lakh was distributed among widows and non pensioners at a function organised in Zila Sainik Welfare Office Samba. Among others the function was attended by 50 veterans and veer naris. ADDC, Samba, Vivek Sharma, was the chief guest on the occasion while Brig Rakesh Rana, Brig K S Chauhan, Col Gaj Raj Singh, Col R.L Sharma co 126(TA Bn), Col and Mrs Vikram co 20 Punjab were the guests of honour. ADDC Samba appreciated the efforts of Zila Sainik Welfare Office and interacted with participants. She assured cooperation from district administration to families of defense forces. A high tea was organised under the aegis of Station Headquarters, Samba in honour of Veer Naris and Veteran.
