BMO Dachhan attached, Dr Anil now heads block 8/13/2015 11:31:45 PM Asif Iqbal Naik Early Times Report Kishtwar, Aug 13: Taking cognizance of public complaints regarding lack of supervisory skills and continuous absenteeism from duty, the Director Health Services ordered immediate attachment of Block Medical Officer (BMO) Dachhan and orders posting of Dr. Anil Sharma as new BMO Dachhan. As per the details available with "Early Times", Director Health Services Jammu vide Order No. 440 of 2015 Dated 12-08-2015 with endorsement No. ES-3/1516-19 stated that his office has received complaints from Marwah/Warwan area of Dachhan Medical block in Kishtwar District that the staff of health institutions in block Dachhan are not attending their duties and subsequently Dy. Director Health Services (HQ) was directed to visit the areas whereas Dy. Director Health Services during his visit to these areas found that Block Medical Officer Dachhan has not visited Marwah/Warwan areas since 9/2013. "In view of irresponsible attitude of Dr. Mehboob Iqbal Khan towards his duties and in view of the resentment of the public of the area, Dr. Mehboob Khan I/C Block Medical Officer, Dachhan is hereby attached with the Medical Superintendent District Hospital Doda---consequently upon the above Dr. Anil Kumar Sharma Dental Surgeon PHC Keeru is hereby transferred and posted in PHC Dachhan and shall hold the charge of BMO Dachhan till further orders" read Director Health Services Jammu order. It is pertinent to mention that majority of schools and government offices in remote Marwah, Warwan and Dachhan areas of Kishtwar District either remain closed or many employees found absent from their duties for months together, beside many government offices for these areas functions from Kishtwar town and its adjoining areas as a result of which local people of these remote areas fail to get the benefit of these government institutions in real sense.   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
