Police Public meeting held at Bhaderwah

Bhaderwah, Aug 13: The police public meeting today held at Sherakhi in which Sajad Ahmed Khan, SDPO Bhaderwah alongwith SHO Bhaderwah, Bandeshwar Singh Manhas and other prominent citizen were participated.
The aim of the meeting was to strengthen the Police-Public relationship, which was attended by 50-60 people including Sarpanches, Panches, members of social and political groups and prominent citizens, local of the area. Participants cherished the role of district police for conducting such types of meetings to bond the relations between Police and Public.
During the course of PCPG meeting, the participants put forth their demands viz. continuous water and electricity supply in Sherakhi area, construction of road from Katyara to Dhanwa and Sharekhi to Gandoh, Black toping of Sartingal Katyara road and also demand, Construction of pacca path from Jamia Masjid Sharekhi to Dhanwa. Participants were assured that their genuine demands will be taken up with concerned Departments for redressal and those pertaining to the Police Department will be redressed on priority. Police officials urged upon the participants to co-operate and strengthen the hands of Police, so that the social crime, smuggling of Drugs, bovine, illicit liquor, forest produce etc be eradicated from the area. The participants were assured that District Police Doda is trying its best to curb the crime from the society and asked for more cooperation from public, so that a crime free atmosphere is build up in the area. Moreover, they were asked to maintain peace and communal harmony in the area.
