Jan decries callousness of PDP-BJP towards shelling sufferers 8/13/2015 11:40:07 PM Early Times Report Poonch, Aug 13: While interacting with the affected families of heavy shelling from across the Line of Control, the Provincial Youth National Conference President and former MLA Poonch Ajaz Jan castigated PDP-BJP coalition for its failure in meeting the situation and coming to the rescue of border dwellers. During his visit to Sabzian and Gagrian villages along the Line of Control (LoC) Jan met the members of 53 families, who have shifted to safer places with the help of relatives and the villagers of adjoining areas. He lamented over the callousness of the government for leaving the shelling victims in lurch and at the mercy of the armed forces. Senior NC Leader Jan, who is camping in the area for the past few days, expressed solidarity with the affected villagers and castigated PDP-BJP coalition for its failure in meeting the situation and coming to the rescue of border dwellers. "This reflects the insensitivity of the government, which has since abdicated its responsibilities", he added. Ex MLA Poonch also paid the fuel charges to the Government Ambulance driver, as driver complained of not being provided the fuel by the health department. He said funds would be raised by way of donations from the villagers in case the government does not have any grants under POL head for the ambulances.
