Jammu, Aug 13: Fighting for establishment of AIIMS in Jammu, the general house of Bar Association of Jammu (BAJ) would decide future course of action August 17.
According to press release, since the Bar Association is spearheading the agitation, and in order to decide the further course of action, the general house of the bar association is scheduled on 17th of August, 2015. However, the Bar Association and the coordination committee continued with the chain hunger strike today 13th of August, 2015 at the High Court road Dharna Sthal. Various senior members of the bar including KS Puri and Associates, DS Chauhan, S. Rupinder Singh, Vipan Gandotra, Varinder Choudhary, Guru Partap Singh, Bharat Singh Parmar amongst others sat on the chain hunger strike. All the speakers who spoke on the occasion reiterated the demand of setting up of AIIMS and reiterated that the press statements, made on behalf of the government for setting up of the AIIMS needs to be clarified and expedited.
