Under CSR, PNB distributes "Amarnath Yatra Booklets' to yatris 8/14/2015 12:21:10 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 13: With its obligation towards society, Punjab National Bank under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) activity distributed Amarnath Yatra guide booklets and caps as souvenir to yatries at its base camp Amarnath Yatri Niwas, Bhagwati Nagar here today. Speaking at the occasion, B.M Fazili, Circle Head PNB, J&K Circle said that with its commitment to serve the society, especially the Amarnath yatries, bank is distributing Yatra guide booklets and caps as souvenir to the yatries on a routine basis. He added that the booklet is very informative as consists of full details of both the Yatra routes i.e. of Baltal and Pahalgam,about Dos & Don'ts during the Yatra & information about tourist destinations in and around Jammu and Kashmir. Fazili informed that the bank is also participating in the registration process of Amarnath Yatra since 2013 and has conducted registration in over 305 branches across India out of total of 430 branches allotted to three banks by Shri Amarnath Shrine Board this year and has registered 1, 13,188 yatries this year and out of which 60792 yatries were registered from Pahalgam route and 52396 yatries from Baltal route. He said bank has also offered its services for registration of NRI yatries and had registered more than 100 NRIs this year for the Yatra and a group permit to 20 Non Resident Indian`s (NRIs) from Mauritius at their circle office recently.
