Srinagar, Aug 17 : The 12th Finance Committee (FC) meeting of the Central University of Kashmir (CUK) was held at Sonwar administrative campus here with officiating Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Mehraj ud Din, in chair.
In his inaugural address, Prof. Mehraj ud Din informed the participants about the overall functioning of the University and the issues confronted by it vis-à-vis ongoing construction at the designated campus in Ganderbal. He informed the Committee members about the new integrated programmes launched by the University. Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Nazir A Gilkar, Controller of Examination/Finance Officer (I/c), gave details about the University finances and the estimated budget for the next financial year. He said the University was following all the prescribed norms with regard to the spending of money. During the meeting, the members discussed threadbare various issues pertaining to budget estimates and campus construction and took several important decisions. |
