SSSM rues administration for poor Machail yatra arrangements

Kishtwar, Aug 17: Shiv Shakti Sewa Mandal (SSSM) Kishtwar today criticized the administration for its failure to make appopriate arrangements for Yatries and also rued poor BSNL services in Padder as a result of which large number of pilgrims travel to Machail are facing lot of inconvenience.
Reports said SSSM Kishtwar today held a meeting under the chairmanship of its President Advocate Rajesh Sharma showed their anguish over the poor arrangements by administration, particularly by Health, R&B, Tourism, GREF, PHE and also rues the poor services of mobile company BSNL.
They said that the dilapidated condition of the roads is a major concern causes lot of inconvenience to the visiting devotees, added that even no sign boards were placed by the department.
"One can only see the welcome banners of Health Minister Chowdhary Lal Singh displayed right from Kishtwar to Machail Bhawan, but health services are poor--- no medicine or doctor was available for yatries at key locations" said Rajesh Sharma.
He said that BSNL authorities have also fail to provide continuous mobile networking service at Base camp as a result of which everyone faces enormous problem due to delinking with rest of the world.
SSSM President hails the efforts of Langer parties providing free and best Langar to visiting pilgrims, beside at some places also provided free medicines to the people. Those who attended the meeting include Sher Singh Rana, Chanderjeet Sharma, Roshan Lal, Kunj Lal, Bansi Lal Thakur, Ravi Baghat, Rajesh Gupta and others.
Meanwhile 4446 pilgrims including Male 2058, Female 1167 and Childrens 711 paid obeisance at Machail Temple in last 24 hours while 43156 persons visited the temple since the Yatra begins early this month.
As Yatra period was near to end, huge rush of pilgrims is expected in coming days and the Yatra is likely to cross 2.50 lac by the end of this year season.
