Despite zero performance BJP leaders desperate to work in Kashmir Valley 8/18/2015 12:21:26 AM Early Times Report Jammu, Aug 17: Embarrassment faced by PHE, Flood Control and Irrigation Minister, Sukhnandan Choudhary during Independence Day function has once again raised question over BJP's efforts to make inroads in some areas of Kashmir Valley. Once again it has proved that incompetent leadership of the party has failed to enrol genuine political workers or leaders in the organisations. Instead of enrolling genuine persons, BJP leadership, it appeared, has roped in only those elements whose only aim is to mint money. The way party workers had refused to respond to "Bharat Mata Ke Jai" slogan of Sukhnandan Choudhary has authenticated the allegations that those who have assigned the job to strengthen organisation in Valley are busy in enjoying luxuries instead of working for the party. They have failed to produce even a single worker who would response his commitment towards the nationalist ideology of the party. Rather than inculcating ideology among BJP workers of Kashmir, party leaders are even dancing to their tunes which was evident when party had abandoned its core issues like Article 370 in its election manifesto in Assembly elections of 2014. It is interesting to know that why majority of the party leaders are over enthusiastic to work in Kashmir Valley despite the fact that performance of their work is big zero so far. Expect luring some political turn-coat, BJP leadership has failed to produce any genuine and credible leader in Kashmir Valley. Some party leaders like Charanjeet Singh Khalsa, Sofi Yosuf, Surinder Ambardar and Ramesh Arora have been awarded with berths in the Legislative Council for their hard-work in Kashmir Valley but party has achieved nothing till date. By pumping crores and crores of rupees, BJP had fielded 34 candidates in Kashmir Valley in the Assembly elections but 33 of them lost their deposits. Despite dismal performance in Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in Kashmir Valley, BJP leadership is still investing huge in the Valley. Leaders lined up to work in Kashmir reasons best known to them. Credible sources said that party is pumping huge money to make inroads in Kashmir Valley so leaders have reason to volunteer themselves for strengthening party in Kashmir.
