DAK demands removal of Principal GMC Sgr | | | Early Times Report Srinagar, Aug 17: The executive members of Doctors Association Kashmir (DAK), Employees Joint Action Committee (EJAC) and Medical Employees Federation (MEF) today in a meeting at Srinagar expressed grave concern over deteriorating condition of Government Medical College (GMC) Srinagar and Sher-i-Kashmir Institute of Medical Sciences (SKIMS). In a joint statement DAK, EJAC and MEF demanded immediate removal of re-employed Principal GMC Dr Rafiq Pampori and Director SKIMS Dr Showkat Zargar as these officials are responsible for worsening situation in these premier institutions. These institutions which were once known for high standards are crumbling and patient care, teaching and research are at its lowest ebb. |
