Jammu, Aug 17: Activists of Pradesh Youth Congress led by Advocate Charanjeet Singh Chicku, President Jammu-Poonch organized a massive protest today at Press Club Jammu against the Pakistan for ceasefire violations and heavy firing along the LOC.
The Protestants also lambasted the Modi-Mufti government for their failure to keep the pre poll promises including an improved security scenario in the state. LYC senior leaders including Sandeep Singh, Ramneek Singh Raina, Hoshar Singh Chib, Ricky Dalgotra, Aijaz Choudhary, Shabir Kholi, Lucky Singh, Jitender Chib, Ravikant, Manjit Singh and Nimrandeep Singh led the protest demonstration and addressed the gathering.
Scores of Protestants raised slogans against the Pakistan for unprovoked firing across the LOC, which resulted in heavy life and property loss in Poonch Sector in the last few days.
The Protestants burnt the effigy of Pakistan and expressed hope that a normalcy will be restored at the earliest along LOC. |
