JAMMU, Dec 10 : The 17th Senior and Junior State Taekwondo Championships, organised by J&K Taekwondo Association concluded at Brahaman Sabha here. Around 200 players representing districts of Kargil, Budgam, Shopian, Baramullah, Kathua, Udhampur, Doda, Jammu and Samba took part in this competition.
Secretary Tribal Affairs Government of J&K was chief guest while Joint Secretary, State Sports Council, Shiv Kumar Sharma and Prof Ashutosh Sharma of JKOA were guests of honour. Haji Sadiq Ali Shuja was special guest. In the meantime, the Association has selected those gold medal winners for the forthcoming 34th Senior National Taekwondo Championship and 35th Junior National Taekwondo Championship 2015 to be held at JN Stadium, Cuttak in Orrisa from December 15 to December 18.
Other present on this occasion were DN Pangotra (general secretary), Anuj Sharma (organsing secretary), Ramesh Chandar Sharma, Shiv Kumar, Gurinder Rakwal, Mohit Sharma, Pankaj Kumar, Anayat Ali, Vikas Abrol, Sanjay Kumar, Brinder Singh Manhas and Mukta Gupta.
