Jammu, Dec 21: Already facing neglect and apathy of government, Ayurvedic Hospital Jammu has now turned into parking lot for the neighbouring shops owners and others, courtesy apathetical attitude of the Hospital administration. Officials of the hospital informed that unauthorized parking of vehicles in front of hospital's gate was causing inconvenience to patients and their attendants, but the administration of the hospital has not shown any concern to regulate the traffic at entry and exit points. Moreover, employees of the Director Health Services (DHS) Jammu also seen parked their vehicle in the premises, further aggravating the problem. Taking benefits of non-serious attitude of the hospital administration, some nearby shopkeepers park their vehicles resulting into total chaos in the front gate of hospital," they maintained. "Interestingly, neither the hospital administration has bothered to put on no-parking-posters or take action against those who park their vehicles in the premises of the hospital, " they claimed and added that despite numerous complaints of unauthorized parking, to the hospital administration but nothing has been done in this regard so far. When contacted Director General of ISM, Ayush Dr Abdul Kabir Dar admitted the problem and said that he had already taken up matter with concerned superintendent of the hospital but now directions will be issued to redress the issue and ensure that the concerned authority would implement these directions. He further said that a circular will also be issued and vehicles of doctors and patients shall be identified. |
