Senior BJP leader mocks at J&K ministers | | | Early Times Report Jammu, Dec 21: A senior BJP leader was at his best in mocking at his counterparts in the PDP-BJP alliance Government in the state when he made comments with expressions short of scathing attack against them. The sarcastic and disdainful expressions only exhibited that more than encouraging them not to hanker after power, he tried to show it off he is at a much higher place, having full authority of the ministries he holds at Centre. Sources said in the function organized at the party headquarters on Sunday to announce new state president, the senior leader's presence became conspicuous and caused inconvenience to his hitherto party colleagues with the content of speech he made perhaps for the first time. Even as he tried to act like a mentor in telling the ministers of state in the state government to go to masses with the centrally sponsored schemes, he did it before not jeering at what he said they were only hankering after power, sources said, adding that this angered not only the 'target' audience but has not been received well with by gathering of senior most leaders including those from Centre present on the occasion. Sources further said he used these lines more than once that the ministers of the state of BJP had been behaving like children in asking for powers in the alliance government. "This conduct amounts to complaining which will not help in their own growth as also in healthy relations in the alliance government……one fails to understand why they have so much of yearning for power……", the leader was learnt to have said while speaking in the function. He further jeered at another senior minister with whom his relations are conspicuously not well from day one, said the sources adding that he uttered the word, "hamare Chief Minister sahib…(our CM)….", which did not look unintentional. Sources said while complimenting the new state chief Sat Sharma MoS in PMO did not use plain congratulatory words instead used the occasion in reminding him he was an outsider in the party, though in a different way. " Aap Ko Bahut Sare Log kahange Ki Aap outsider hai …(many people will see you as an outsider …", but your political career now rests with the BJP…". |
