Activists allege BJP Ministers failed in front of Custodian Deptt Public convenience Complex row: 12/21/2015 11:14:01 PM Neeraj Sharma Early Times Report Sunderbani, Dec 21: Alleging that Bhartiya Janta Party (BJP) has totally failed against Custodian Department which has stalled the construction of toilet complex in Tehsil Complex, social activist Sunderbani Dev Raj Sharma and others said that a resentment is brewing among people after General Custodian of Evacuees Property Jammu and Kashmir following Deputy Custodian Rajouri stopped the construction work of public convenience toilet complex inaugurated by deputy Chief Minister Nirmal Singh on December 3. Dev Raj Sharma said Deputy Chief Minister during his tour in Sunderbani to inaugurate Press Information Bureau's three days fair also laid the foundation stone of Public Convenience Complex after locals apprised the problems faced by the travelers and visitors to Tehsil Complex especially the women folks. He laid the foundation stone of a toilet complex on an open space -khasra no 2788 and the construction works also gets started for Public Toilet Complex at Tehsil Headquarters Sunderbani. Sharma and other social workers said 18 kanals 6 maralas land is under the possession of the tehsil headquarter Sunderbani since 1965 under the khasra number 2788 and the land under Custodian/evacuee property has been reduced to only 11 kanal 6 maralas land in revenue record while rest has been encroached by land mafia. Speakers said Custodian Department failed to take any action against land grabbers' reasons better known to the authorities but it has stopped the work initiated for the welfare of the public. Irked over the unexpected reaction to a public cause as it is not meant to one or the other persons but the public convenience complex was aimed to come up as a facility for all irrespective to caste creed and religion and above all to maintain the Sunderbani Clean. Questioning the stand of the Custodian Department Rajouri, social activist wished instead of putting spoke in the wheel the departed should have come ahead voluntarily for this social cause by offering a land space just to make the 'Sunderbani Clean.'   Share This News with Your Friends on Social Network     Comment on this Story
