jammu, Dec 21: Nagraad Adbi Sangam (NAS) - literary organization working to promote Kashmiri language today held condolence meeting on the sad demise of an eminent poet and writer Omkar Rana. According to spokesperson, all the members of NAS attended the meeting and extended their heartfelt sympathies to the bereaved family.
During the meeting, the members also prayed to Almighty to grant peace to the departed soul and give the courage to his aggrieved family members to bear this irreparable loss. A two minutes silence was also observed in the end of the meeting to express their regard to departed soul.
Prominent members of Nagraad Adbi Sangam (NAS) who attended the meeting and paid homage to departed soul included P N Shad, AK Ganderbal, Ashok Gowsher, Avtar Hugami, K L Pardesi, M L Maroof and S N Sanam. |
