Jammu, Jan 2: Jammu & Kashmir speed ball team won over all North India championship trophy 2015 at 5th North India Speed ball championship in New Delhi wherein about 300 students from 11 states of the country participated. In the event, 32 members team from J&K participated under the supervision of Sunny Nanda where J&K team won over all champion trophy while Delhi got the second place and Haryana claimed third place. The team won 5 gold, 12 silver and 9 bronze respectively. Chief patron of association, Navin aggarwal IPS, presented a token of appreciation to Sunny Nanda and also highlighted his achievement while other senior members Dr Pawan kotwal, Rakesh Sharma, S.P langer, V.k Sharma, Vinod Gupta, Vijay Gupta, Suram Singh congratulated the team as well as the official of team, Rakhi Jamwal, Sweeti Sharma, Aditya Singh for the best performance. Among those who clinched gold medal in their respective categories included Raghunandan Singh, Ashutosh Singh, Suryansh Rabogtra, Ajay Singh, Aryan kangotra and silver-Lakshaydeep Jamwal, Akarshan Rasyal, Krish Sharma, Mansi Slathia, Anmol Ghai, Pallav Sharma,Vikas Sharma, Aarav Sharma, Shubam Puri, Rhea Tikku, Kunal Sharma, Fiza Choudhary Lalee, bronze medals: Irfan Amhed Khan, Anish Sharma, Saksham Talwar, Aryaman Sharma, Rohini Saini, Basu Cheetri, Kunal Kohli. All gold medalist players will be selected for speed ball federation cup championship 2016 in the month of february. |
