Abducted girl tracked down within 24 hrs 1/2/2016 11:24:39 PM Early Times Report Rajouri, Jan 2: Acting swiftly Rajouri police have recovered a minor girl within 24 hours of her kidnapping besides arrest of the accused who also belong to the victim's village. A case stands registered in this regard. Police said, "On Friday complainant namely Abdul Rashid of village Daraj approached Budhal Police Station and lodged the written complaint alleging therein that his minor girl has been abducted by one Gultaz s/o Muzmal Din with the help of some associates. Quoting the complainant, Police said, "The victim identified as Nagina Akhter had gone to Budhal market on January 1 for some purchasing but didn't come back." Accordingly police registered a case under FIR No u/s 363-109RPC and swung into action, police added. Police said, "During investigation police picked up some suspects for questioning and also conducted raids at several places to track the accused and girl." "On specific input, a police team was rushed to Nanga Thub pastures and during search police arrested the accused and rescued the girl from his clutches, police said, adding, "the accused and the girl were brought to Budhal Police Station where after legal formalities and medical examination the girl was handed over to the family members.
