| DIET conducts training programme | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Jan 2 : District Institute of Education and Trainings (DIET) Jammu organized a 5days subject Specific Training programme under RMSA in two phases.
In the first phase Science and Mathematics were covered from December 21 and in the second phase Hindi, English and Social Science were covered. From the 15 zones of district Jammu 526 teachers/masters participated in the above five subjects.
The main focus of the Training programme was to improve the transactional strategy and pedagogical skills of the teachers/masters teaching at the secondary level. The venues of the training programmes were Boys HSS Bakshi Nagar, Girls HSS Bakshi Nagar and Girls HSS Canal road. The 5 days Training Programme in different subject was coordinated by Sudesh Sharma, Veena Kerni, Vimla Devi, Darshna Devi and Kamlesh Bhagat (all HODs) and assited by Associate Coordinator Radha Kumari, Roopa Kumari, Rekha Rani, Ummi Hanee and Kalpana Jasrotia respectively at the three venues. While speaking at the valedictory session the Principal DIET Jammu Mangal Dev stressed upon the participants to carry forward the techniques and skills learned in the training programme to their actual classroom situation, so that the students will be benefited. |
