ramban, Jan 2: Under the directions of the Chief Minister, Mufti Mohd, Syed issued during the previous District Development Board meeting, the District Development Commissioner (DDC) Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar today reviewed the working of the committee meant for starting the different professional and vocational courses in the Ramban district. He chaired this meeting at the Government Degree College (GDC), Ramban today.
In consultation with the Principals of the GDC of Ramban, Banihal and Gool besides the Polytechnic college,Ramban and the ITI's of Ramban, Gool and Banihal the DDC took stock of the feasibility and the scope of different new career oriented courses in these institutes.
He would send his recommendation in this regard to the concerned higher authorities for its earlier implementation.
Besides the ACR and the Engineers of the PHE, PDC and the PWD(R&B), the Principals of the Government Degree Colleges and the ITIs of Ramban, Gool and Banihal and the Polytechnic college Ramban were prominently present in the meeting. |
