SUNDERBANI, Feb 18: The scarcity of ration under Public Distribution System (PDS) in Sunderbani and its adjoining areas has become a source of big agony for the consumers who have no other option but to purchase food grains from the open market though most of them can hardly afford it due to much higher prices in comparison to the government ration.
Due to the non-availability of flour and other ration items at ration depots, the residents of Sunderbani and its vicinity, the people are suffering.
The residents of Sunderbani lamented that they even as they are suffering due to the shortage of flour in the ration depots for the past some time but the administration has not paid any heed to the problem.
They alleged that the CAPD department's negligence has created acute shortage of flour and other ration items in the government ration depots. They said that they visit the ration depots several times but every time they come empty handed. |
