Transfer Mela organized by Education Department

RAMBAN, Feb 18: In a 'Transfer Mela' organisd by the Education Department under the supervision of Chief Education Officer, Mohammad Sharief Chauhan in the Government Higher Secondary School, here today.
As many as 123 Masters, 83 Teachers and 27 Lecturers of Ramban district submitted their applications for their transfers from their Hard (difficult) zones to the softer zones on the grounds of being remaining un-transferred beyond their tenure, medical ground, health grounds especially being handicapped, being a widow, lactating mother. Their applications were scrutinized by a committee comprising of 6 ZEO, 3 Principals of Higher Secondary Schools, 2 Headmasters and the Deputy CEO.
The Deputy Commissioner, Ramban, Bashir Ahmed Dar and MLA, Ramban, Neelam Kumar Langeh also reviewed the proceeding of the Mela and directed the committee to ensure utmost transparency and impartially in the transfers as per the guidelines of the Transfer Policy of the state government.
