| Three die in separate road mishaps | | | Early Times Report
Jammu, Feb 18: Three persons were killed in separate road mishaps at different places on Thursday. Concerned police have registered respective cases at different police stations and have started further investigations. Police said that an elderly person was killed when the car he was driving rolled down at Logate Morh in Kathua, this morning.
"Identity of the deceased has been established as Krishan Chand (60) of Patel Nagar Kathua, police said.
Police said that he was on way to Kathua from Jammu in a car along with other family members and the car rolled down near Logate Morh, resulting on the spot death of Krishan Chand and injuries to others.
Locals shifted the injured to District Hospital (DH) Kathua and severely injured aged person was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu and the injured succumbed to his injuries on way to hospital.
After legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites. Meanwhile a police have taken cognizance in this connection.
Meanwhile, an unidentified managed (30) was knocked to death by an unidentified Army Vehicle at Gangyal area. Police have shifted the body to the mortuary of the GMCH Jammu for legal formalities while a case in this connection stands registered for further investigations.
Yet in another similar incident a 57 years-old man was knocked to death by an unidentified vehicle in Gadi Garh locality. "The deceased has been identified as Ashok Kumar son of Hem Raj of Gaddi Garh, police said. |
