Srinagar, Feb 18: Two youths were killed when they were buried under an avalanche in Tral area of south Kashmir district of Pulwama this afternoon, official source said here today.
They said two youths identified as 22-year-old Mohammad Yousuf Gojar and Mohammad Yousuf (32) were buried under snow avalanche at Mushkadajan forest Naristan, Tral, in Pulwama.
The area had recently received heavy snowfall.
Police and locals immediately launched rescue operation but could not save them, they said, adding that the bodies were later recovered. |
