Early Times Report JAMMU, Mar 3: The vigilance organisation, Jammu, (VOJ), has booked a naib-tehsildar, a girdawar and a patwari for their alleged act of fraudulently and dishonestly preparing fake documents of four kanals of state land at Chowadi here in favour of three persons who too have been named as accused in the FIR. The VOJ investigation revealed then naib-tehsildar, Bahu, Shabir Ahmad Malik, then girdawar Shabir Ahmad and then patwari, halqa Chowadi, Muhammad Rashid allegedly entered into a criminal conspiracy with Major Singh, Kamal Singh and Rashpal Singh and managed the sale of state land measuring more than four kanals falling under khasra No 96 at Chowadi by preparing revenue extracts verified and attested of proprietary land of the three persons falling under khasra Nos 55, 100 and 101. The VOJ investigation also revealed that the revenue officials had allegedly recorded, verified and attested mutations of proprietary land of the three persons dishonestly, fraudulently and with ulterior motives to benefit the accused. It was also revealed that then girdawar had prepared a fraud fard-e-intikhab on the basis of which the sale deed was executed and mutation No 4653/jeem was recorded, verified and attested by the three revenue officials on October 1, 2014 in favour of Ram Rattan who was given possession of state land under khasra No 96. After the completion of probe, VOJ registered a case against the accused under section 5(1) (d) read with section 5 (2) of J&K PC Act Svt 2006 and sections 120-B, 420, 468 and 471 of RPC. |
