Akhnoor, Apr 8: One day medical camp was organized at an ancient religious place called Samah under the aegis of Dr. Vinod Sharma, BMO Akhnoor.
According to press release, the camp was synchronized with 3 days Chetar-Chaudi-Masea-Navratras Mela (fair) held every year and this year the theme was diabetic diagnostics. More than 550 people, men and women had got their Diabetes test done. Results were shown on the spot. Those diagnosed Diabetic were counseled and prescribed treatment. Routine medical examinations were also held for large number of people. Rajeev Sharma MLA Akhnoor accompanied by SDM and SDPO inaugurated the Camp. Doctors who attended to the patients included Dr. Raman Kumar, Dr. Rakesh, Dr. Survi and Dr. Swati. |
