JAMMU, Apr 8: Following the decision of BJP and PDP to re-stitch their alliance, an IGP rank officer has become active all of a sudden and has been taking rounds of the residences of PDP leaders, urging them to post him in the traffic wing of State police.
Police sources said soon after it became clear that BJP and PDP were all set to again form Government in near future, the IGP started taking rounds of the residences of PDP leaders who were camping in Jammu.
"Posted at the same place for the past two years and four months, he now wants a good posting for him. To achieve this aim, he is regularly paying visits to the residences of senior PDP leaders."
Sources claimed that he had received an assurance from PDP leaders that he would be posted as IGP traffic police.
He was said to have got no significant posting as IGP. |
