Health employee found dead in a local hotel 4/8/2016 10:58:12 PM Early Times Report Kishtwar, Apr 8: Kishtwar police today claimed to have recovered a body of a health employee from a hotel room located in ever busy Bus Stand area of the town under mysterious circumstances. As per the details available with "Early Times" on receiving information from hotel staff about health employee who checked-in in the hotel a day before is lying unconscious for long, a police team led by DySP (Hqrs) Kishtwar Touseef Ahmed and SHO Police Station Kishtwar Mohd Aslam Wani was rushed to the spot. "On reaching hotel police found the person dead and it collecting circumstantial evidences from the crime scene, police sources said, adding, "during the search of his belongings the identity of deceased , was established as Mahatam Singh (38) s/o Om Prakash of Halaran Gundoh, working as Junior Pharmacist presently at Rikanwas Sub Center. "The deceased as per hotel record checked in at around 7 PM on Wednesday and was allotted RNo 109 of Hotel Grand Place, Shan Complex Kishtwar, sources said. "Police have found liquor bottle and some personal belongings of the deceased and later shifted the body to District Hospital Kishtwar where a team of doctors conducted his autopsy, they added. SSP Kishtwar Sandeep Kumar Wazir told that Hotel Manager Zulfkar Ali reported the matter to police and accordingly police started its investigation under section 174 CrPC. He said that identity of the deceased was first established by the police on the basis of recipient slip of handing over of medicinal consignment to in charge PHC Afti in Warwan.
