Jammu, Apr 8: MLC Rani Gargi Blowria today inaugurated a link road in Vijaypur of Samba district in a project dedication ceremony. The said road was constructed at the estimated cost of Rs 12.0 lakhs provided from MLC-CDF.
Addressing the gathering Congress MLC Rani Gargi Blowria assured the gathering that under the able leadership of AICC president Sonia Gandhi and state president G A Mir her party is working to redress the sufferings of the problems being faced by local in remote rural areas.
Commenting on present situation, she said, "It is the need of the hour to maintain communal harmony and age-old brotherhood among the different section of the society so that a peaceful atmosphere can be created for the development and progress of the state." She also exhorted the people of the area to strengthen the Congress party and asked the women folk to come forward and take part in political activities and development of the their area.
Among prominent present on this occasion Ex Minister Manjeet Singh, Raman Singh Slathia, Sarpanch Gurah Slathia, BDO Vijaypur, Manohar lal, master BElI RAM,Capt Ashok Singh and Parshotam Singh also were present in this ceremony |
