Poonch, Apr 8: The condition of Poonch bus stand reflects the failure of Poonch municipality. People said the mission Swachh Bharat Abhiyan is virtually a failure in Poonch. Keetan Waid a local of Poonch showed his anguish towards district administration Poonch and alleged that every year during the rainy season water overflowed from drains creates tension in the entire area. Many traders in this regard also alleged, the Municipal Corporation Poonch has totally failed to manage the situation. Locals said the district administration Poonch has totally failed as DC Poonch is chairman of the district who has not his interest to clean Poonch town. Locals and traders said many a time through print media, electronic media and many time they met Executive Officer of municipality, yet no initiative has been taken to resolve this problem of public. Sanjeev Kumar, Arjun Vaid, Raju Sharma, Minta Singh and others said while they visits bus stand Poonch they feel very bad. They said a little rain has changed the condition of bus stand due to water coming out from drains. |
