JKGEJAC (K) welcomes formation of democratic Government in state

Jammu, Apr 8: Jammu Kashmir Government Employees Joint Action Committee (K) in its meeting hailed the government formation in state after almost three month long Governor's Rule which was imposed on January 8 after the sudden demise of the then Chief Minister Mufti Mohd Sayeed on January 7.
Speaking in this meeting JKGEJAC (K) state president Mushtaq Ahmad Khan and S Balwinder Singh provincial president JKGEJAC (K) Jammu chapter welcomed the formation of popular democratic government in the state. Speakers congratulated Mehbooba Mufti on holding the reins of state as first woman Chief Minister of J&K State. They further hoped that her government will create an environment of trust and co operation for redresel of all the pending problems in general and state Govt. Employees. The speakers also informed as JKGEJAC (K) is emerging as a leading force in trade union movement of the state and thus many new organizations from various departments representing Non- Gazetted Employees are coming under the umbrella of JKGEJAC (K).
"JKGEJAC (K) has accepted affiliations requests of S Amrik Singh Agricultural Employees Association, Umar Jan Provincial President' Social Welfare Non- Gazetted Employees Association and Vipan Kumar Provincial President Youth Services and Sports Association, they added. They also added parent JKGEJAC (K) body has appointed S Amrik Singh as Gen Secy State and Vipan Kumar Organizer Provincial to JKGEJAC (K) During the meeting they also highlighted various long pending demands of employee Removal of pay anomalies of clerical cadre and others, Regularization of all Adhoc, contractual/consoiidate Aanganwari workers and helpers, NHM, Need Base, Daily Wager Employees, Release of 12% DA due from July 2015 and January 2016, Uniform Interest Rate of Personal Consumption Loan (PCL) for J&K Govt. Employees at par with J&K Bank Employees and provide additional budgetary support to all PSU for release of 6th pay commission arrear. Among those who were present in this meeting were S Dharminder Singh, Ravi Singh Bhau, S Ravinder Singh, Naz- Ahmad Bhat, Shahid Hussain, Amrik Singh Sasan, Jagdish Ra], Surjeet Singh Subash Chander, Dalbir Singh, Amrik Singh Chib, B S Pinka, Vargesh Mehta, Amarjeet Singh and others.
